9Queens Girls Academy in Charlotte
MAY 16th from 1-3pm. Any woman or girl with any level of experience (although probably under 1300 is best for this group) is welcome and encouraged to join us at Border’s Bookstore near Southpark Mall in Charlotte, NC. We will discuss tournament strategies, learn tactics and play a practice match for the more advanced players and brush up on rules and basic checkmates for beginners. History of women’s chess and post-game analysis also offered in this informal and fun setting.
This event is discounted for the end-of-school year: $15/per person or $25 for mom/daughter pair! (Normal rates: $20/$35)
